What a link earns us

The button on every card is a paid link, and the price you pay is the same either way.

We do not run a checkout. Every button here opens the listing for that exact colourway at the shop that stocks us, and if an order goes through we are paid a small cut of it by that shop. It comes out of their margin, not out of your total. The figure on the listing is the figure you pay whether you arrived through us or typed the name in yourself.

What that does and does not change

• It does not change the price. Not by a cent, in either direction.
• It does not decide the running order. Our roundups sort by how many ratings a listing has and by the rating itself, and the sorting code does not know what anything pays.
• It does not buy a page. A design gets a page for being in stock and measurable, and for nothing else.
• It does pay for the photographs, the size desk and the person who reads the listings so the ladders on this site are right.

Prices move and we do not chase them

The figures on this site were read off the listings when the catalogue was built. They shift. The number on the shop page at the moment you look is the real one, and it wins any argument with ours.
