How we work
Ratchet teeth lock every quarter inch
Punched holes sit an inch apart and wear out at the edges. Our sewn track catches inside the buckle on the quarter inch, so the strap stops where you stop.
Trim excess strap length with shears
A long strap gets in the way of your belt loops. We build 48 models that let you remove the buckle, shorten the strap, and lock the closure back in place.
Size ladders disagree across the range
Across 67 printed ladder rows, 28 waist numbers carry conflicting letter names. We ignore arbitrary letters and build to your measured waist from 26 to 56 inches.

- Wipe leather straps with a dry cotton cloth when dust settles on the grain.
- Rinse dirt from web belts under cold water and hang them up to dry.
- Wash cushioned athletic socks inside out in cold water so the cushioning keeps its loft.
- Brush dried mud off the cork footbed with a stiff horsehair shoe brush.
Not worth doing
- Do not submerge leather ratchet belts in water or leave them on hot radiators.
- Do not run webbing belts through a hot dryer because the fibres shrink.
- Do not use chlorine bleach on elastic socks or dark woven fabrics.
- Do not soak clogs with cork footbeds in standing water or puddles.

We split our sections by how you measure them rather than how they look. Belts follow your measured waist across 26 to 56 inches, while socks and clogs follow shoe sizes. Wallets and money clips are not sized at all.
