What this one is

We build this pair with two layers of split leather and a scratch resistant zinc ratchet buckle. Instead of punched holes that pull and stretch, a concealed track under the strap gives you 31 micro adjustments. The buckle releases quickly so you can adjust your fit while sitting down.

How it is put together

Thirty One Step Track

We mold a track of 31 notches into the underside of the strap. Each notch adjusts in quarter inch increments across a 7.5 inch range, giving you a precise setting without hole wear.

Two Layer Split Leather

We stitch two layers of split leather together without filler in the middle. The flat stitched edges and solid strap construction hold firm up to 60 pounds of pulling force.

Cut to Length Strap

The back of the strap carries engraved size markings from 26 to 56 inches. Open the buckle clamp, trim the excess leather with household shears, and lock the buckle back in place.

Scratch Resistant Zinc Buckle

We cast the ratchet buckle in solid zinc and finish it with a protective top coat. The quick release lever lets you loosen or tighten the strap smoothly throughout the day.
