What this one is

Two leather straps paired with zinc ratchet buckles give you a clean front with no punched holes to stretch out. We build a thirty-two notch track into the underside so you can adjust the fit by a quarter inch at a time. The buckle unclasps easily so you can trim the leather down to your exact waist.

How it is put together

Quarter Inch Ratchet Track

We build thirty-two notches directly into the back of each strap. The ratchet clicks in quarter inch steps across a twenty inch adjustment range, letting you reset the tension after meals without pulling against a punched hole.

Custom Cut Fit

We mark sizing guides right on the back of the leather. Open the buckle clamp with a flat tool, cut the excess length off the raw end with household shears, and snap the clamp shut for a tailored waist size.

Zinc Ratchet Buckle

We cast each buckle from pure zinc and finish it with a scratch-resistant top coating. A small release lever underneath disengages the teeth with one hand so you can loosen or remove the strap smoothly.

Edge Stitched Leather

We cut both the black and dark gray straps at 1 3/8 inches wide to slide through standard dress slacks and jeans. Firm edge stitching runs down both sides to keep the layers flat under daily tension.
