What this one is

We build this classic black strap with thirty-two track notches hidden underneath instead of standard punched holes. The zinc ratchet buckle locks every quarter inch for an exact fit throughout the day. It accommodates waists from 26 to 56 inches and cuts down cleanly at home.

How it is put together

Quarter Inch Ratchet Track

We build thirty-two molded notches beneath the strap to give you quarter inch increments. The longer release lever lets you slide the belt open or closed with a single finger touch.

Trim to Size Strap

We mark measurements along the back of the strap up to 56 inches. Open the buckle clasp, trim the excess leather with household shears, and snap the buckle firmly back in place.

Two Layer Split Leather

We construct the 1 3/8 inch strap using two bonded layers of split leather with no cardboard filler inside. The build withstands up to sixty pounds of pulling tension without stretching out.

Coated Zinc Buckle

We cast the ratchet buckle from solid zinc alloy and finish it with a scratch-resistant black coating. The enclosed mechanism grips the track teeth firmly during daily wear and long shifts.
