What this one is

We built this belt in dark gray split leather with a hidden ratchet track under the tail. Instead of punched holes spaced an inch apart, the buckle locks along thirty small steps over seven and a half inches. You trim the strap to size at home with household shears before locking the buckle in place.

How it is put together

Quarter Inch Adjustment

The underside track features thirty individual teeth spaced a quarter inch apart. Slide the strap through the buckle to tighten, or lift the release lever to slacken the fit through the workday.

Split Leather Strap

We cut the strap at 1 3/8 inches wide from genuine split leather in a dark gray finish. The smooth surface stays clean of punched holes, leaving a neat tail that sits flat through belt loops.

Cut to Length

The strap arrives sized for waists from 32 up to 56 inches. Open the clasp on the back of the buckle, trim off the excess length with kitchen shears, and clamp the teeth back into the leather.
