What this one is

A smooth leather strap without punched holes keeps a clean look through every belt loop. We set a 32-notch ratchet track inside the back so you can tighten or loosen the fit in quarter inch steps. The zinc buckle releases with a quick finger lever when you sit down.

How it is put together

Ratchet Track Fit

We build a track with 32 notches into the underside of the strap. It moves in quarter inch increments, letting you find the exact fit through the day without pulling on worn holes.

Trimmable Leather Strap

Two layers of split leather are joined without filler to hold a clean profile. Size markings on the back show where to trim the strap with household shears after you pop the buckle clamp open.

Solid Zinc Buckle

We cast the buckle from solid zinc with a scratch-resistant coating. The mechanism holds against sixty pounds of pull force, and the elongated lever gives your finger quick leverage to loosen the grip.

Standard Width Profile

We cut the strap to a width of 1 3/8 inches. It slides easily into dress trousers, chinos, and denim loops while holding its shape across the waistband.
